What Enhanceify does

Enhanceify: Audio & Video Controller is a Chrome browser extension that provides the following features on the active browser tab:

• Boosts audio volume up to 500% using Web Audio API EQ profiles
• Rotates and enhances video playback on any webpage
• Saves your preferences locally so your settings are remembered between sessions

Data we do not collect

Enhanceify does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of the following:

• Personally identifiable information (name, email, address, etc.)
• Browsing history or websites you visit
• Audio content or video content from your tabs
• Authentication credentials or passwords
• Financial or payment information
• Location data
• User activity or behavior analytics

No data ever leaves your browser. There are no servers, no databases, and no third-party analytics tools connected to this extension.

Permissions explained

Enhanceify requests the following Chrome permissions. Each one is used strictly for the extension's core audio and video functionality:

None of these permissions are used to collect or transmit data outside your browser.

Local storage only

Any settings you configure in Enhanceify — such as your preferred volume level or EQ profile — are saved using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API. This data is stored exclusively on your own device and is never sent to any external server.

Third-party services

Enhanceify does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No external scripts are loaded at runtime.

Children's privacy

Enhanceify does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since we collect no data at all, the extension is safe for all ages.

Changes to this policy

If we ever update this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
